BANGKOK // Chatuchak market

The Chatuchak Weekend Market (or Jatujak Market; Thai: ตลาดจตุจักร) is one of the world’s largest weekend markets. divided into 27 Sections it contains more than 15,000 booths selling goods from every part of Thailand. There are local shops that sell all kinds of touristy stuff and then there are local Thai brands with sell really trendy clothes. The market is only open on weekends and is mostly for tourists. However they also sell local cheap goods so local  people also like shopping here for cheap clothes or food. There are a lot of stalls with vintage clothes, really worth looking through! And also some stalls with fake designer clothes. Take your pick, it’s all there!

BANGKOK // Event tip: Soi Nana

That time we got lost in China town in Bangkok we found so many cool places that I did a little research afterwards. I stumbled upon this place called “Cho Why”, which is a new collaborative, cross-disciplinary project space in Chinatown. The old shop houses here have sprung to life with small bars, homemade goodies, craft beer and vintage clothing. They organise all kinds of cool events, I read some articles about it on, here are some pictures to give you an idea. If I’m ever in Bangkok again, I will be sure to keep an eye on their facebook page! And so should you!
